Bye-Bye MIR-BOSE

Posté par:

The MIR-BOSE project is coming to an end in September 2021.

There has been tremendous scientific works in the project for understanding the physics in polaritonics at a deeper level, experimentally demonstrating a mid-IR polaritonic LED under optical pumping, developing a quantum theory for polaritonic LEDs and lasers in the mid-IR (and more … see the list of around 30 articles in our Publications‘ page).

The demonstration of polaritonic Mid-IR laser modulation allows the development of standalone and broadband devices with control of the beam amplitude and/or phase at ultra-fast rates in Mid-IR.

And new results will be announced once they are officially published !!

MIR-BOSE’s Workshop on: Polaritonics and Strong-Coupling Phenomena

Posté par:

The MIR-BOSE consortium organized a workshop on September 17, 2019. This workshop consisted of a focused Session on Polaritonics and Strong-Coupling Phenomena planned during the conference ITQW 2019 (Infrared Terahertz Quantum Workshop 2019).

The focused session brought together researchers working on various issues related to polaritons and strong-coupling phenomena in the infrared and terahertz ranges to spark cross-fertilization and collaboration. It included an invited tutorial talk providing an introduction to students and researchers new to the field. The Session was made up of a small number of invited talks (30 minutes), and several contributed talks (15-20 minutes).

Schedule of the session
