Tematys (www.tematys.com) is an independent SME dedicated to the exploration of Photonics markets. The company provides studies and strategy in Optics, Photonics, Sensors, Imaging, Lighting and their application markets. The company has developed a special expertise in R&D valorization and marketing of emerging technologies coming from Research Organizations, but also from private industrial groups, SME and start-ups. Tematys provides studies and sourcing services to photonics end-users in application markets (life science, defense, aerospace…). Tematys also provides strategic views on optical, photonic and sensor markets for clusters and public agencies. Tematys participates currently in several research consortia funded by the French National Research Agency by the european Commission
As for C3PO, Tematys is responsible for the dissemination and the exploitation work package and also produces a functional specification (or market requirement document) of the systems, based on the needs expressed by end-users.
